Recharge Your Relationship
Couples counselors see couples suffering from a variety of marital and relational breakdowns, but many of these relationships broke down because of a simple case of boredom. When a couple becomes complacent about their relationship and allows an amount of boredom to set in, they are setting the stage for a “grass is always greener on the other side” scenario.
If you have been looking around and seeing every wonderful quality about every available person and completely ignoring the qualities in your partner, perhaps its time to recharge your relationship before that ennui becomes distasteful resentment.
Recharge Your Relationship
Envision, Plan and Promote your future
Your future is the thing that you both have dreamed of, but often it gets forgotten in the everyday strife. Planning out your future and looking at what it can be will help you take a good look at your partner and think about them more often as you plan your lives together.
Quality is still Key
It may be a tired saying, but in practice it can be anything but. Make sure to spend some quality time with your partner every day, even if its only for 15 or 20 minutes. You shouldn’t plan on spending this time together to air out grievances or make your to-do lists. Rather, this time together should be to talk about your day, things that you saw or heard that you found interesting or even discussing fond memories. Quality time is together time.
Couples counseling can help you find the life in your relationship again.
