A Hollywood Marriage Is Not Necessarily Your Marriage
Facing the realities of marriage is a time honored tradition that has been the butt of many bachelor party jokes and more than a few movies and books. The never ending fodder of a couple who walk down the path of monogamy and the many temptations that they face along the way are nothing new in our culture and are in fact often celebrated. After all, a marriage story is seldom noteworthy in the media if the couple hasn’t overcome obstacles and temptation along the way. Marriage in the media spotlight, however, is never hotter than when it crumbles under that spotlight and the personal infidelities are laid out for all the world to see.

For celebrities who spend their lives basking in the adoration of the public spotlight, there are without doubt certain temptations that everyday people are not subjected to. There are, also, more common personality types that are self centered and self depreciating that seek outside approval for internal self worth, which happen to be circumstances that make a person more apt to cheat.
Everyday marriages are not Hollywood marriages. You should never judge your marriage by Hollywood standards for the good or the bad. Make your marriage what you need it to be and judge it by the standards that are right for you.
