Anger Management Therapy

For many individuals, learning about anger management and admitting there is a problem is not exactly voluntary, nor is it a matter of having a personal epiphany. For some, anger management is something that they learn about because they have either been a victim of another’s anger or because they have become a victim of their own anger. Court mandated anger management sessions are becoming increasingly common, though few counselors or therapists provide skilled and experienced help.

For those who seek anger management help because they are court mandated to do so, finding the right therapist can be difficult, and knowing what to expect can make the process both difficult and full of anxiety.

Dr. Marty Tashman is one counselor who provides anger management therapy for those are being required by the courts to attend. His anger management treatment also includes a helpful understanding of the process and precisely what to expect.

$100 to $170 (individual)
$ 60 to $ 90 (small group) when available,
Our Anger Management Program is 5 to 8 sessions, depending on the individual’s progress. The sessions are 50 minutes in length.
During our meetings participants will learn:
* To better understand their anger.
* Early detection of their angry feelings and what to do about
them.
*Effective ways of talking with your partner to stop anger from
getting out of hand.
* How to handle the anger that comes from addiction problems.
At the end of the counseling, there will be a brief letter to the court stating that the person has attended our sessions.

If you are court mandated to look into anger management therapy, don’t hesitate to find the right counselor for you.
