Help For Marriage Therapists
Marriage therapists are in the business of helping others, but that doesn’t mean that sometimes they don’t need help themselves. The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) is an organization whose mission is to support those who help others with their relationship issues.
The AAMFT website is full of resources for the marriage and family counselor. There’s an online bookstore, a career resource center, a legal policy index, information about ethics, job and career information including a place to post your resume, information on professional liability insurance and online directories for graduate schools that offer degrees in counseling and family and marriage counseling licensure boards, among other things.
