We have also found that in terms of marriage counsellors in particular therapists are alligning more with a particular school of thought related to couples dynamics like Milanian, Gotman, Bowen etc. For individual counsellors there also seems to be growing support for ACT (acceptance and comitment therapy) and DBT (dialectic behaviour therapy).
